| How do you visit our pets? Step by Step Find a dog you like within our website. Fill out an online application to be approved to meet the pets in our care. ( we will do all we can to help you choose the right pet for your home environment and family needs) An email will be sent with 48 hours asking for you to set up a visit. If you have a current dog please do bring him/her with you to make sure everyone likes each other. We promote a "trial" period with all adult dogs BEFORE you commit to the adoption. We do not allow trial visits for puppies . (they will be whatever you teach them to be) We adopt to "great" homes anywhere in the U.S. but we do not ship our pets, you must come to meet us first. Because we are foster based there are no "open" hours. ALL visits must be scheduled. For additional information please call: 618-979-1908 (note we are all volunteers therefore we all work during the day and it could take 24 hours to get back to you).
